Host Responsibility

Last updated: July 2026

We are committed to safe and responsible gaming. This page explains how we care for our guests and where to find help.

Our commitment

RoyalClubhouse is a casino hotel and entertainment resort, and we take our responsibility to guests seriously. Our gaming lounge is a small, adults-only part of the resort, run with care so that gaming stays a form of entertainment — never a way to make money or escape from difficulties.

Adults aged 20 and over

Entry to the gaming lounge is for guests aged 20 and over only, in line with the Gambling Act 2003. We may ask for photo identification, and our team will always do so if there is any doubt about age.

Knowing the signs

Gambling can become a problem for some people. Warning signs include spending more time or money than intended, chasing losses, borrowing money to play, or feeling anxious or secretive about gambling. If any of this feels familiar, help is available and it works.

Support and self-exclusion

If you would like to take a break, our team can help you arrange self-exclusion from the gaming lounge, confidentially and without judgement. You can also set your own limits before you play. Please speak with any member of our team — we are here to help.

Our trained team

Our staff are trained to promote responsible gaming, to recognise the signs that someone may need support, and to offer help in a discreet and caring way.

Where to get help

Free, confidential help is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week:

Play responsibly

Please gamble responsibly. Set a budget, take regular breaks, and never play with money you cannot afford to lose. If gambling stops being fun, it is time to stop.
